Aerotek Wins Cross' 'Ovation' Business Award
Rep. Tom Cross (R-Oswego) and his Ovation to Business Advisory Committee presented his monthly Ovation to Business Award to Aerotek Design Labs, LLC of Plainfield today for their extensive community service and support of numerous civic and charitable organizations.
“Greg Chapman, Joe Chierigatti and Aerotek are not only an aviation industry leader, but a dedicated community partner,” said Rep. Cross. “They represent everything the Ovation Award is intended to recognize. I congratulate Aerotek on their success and thank them for their outstanding work throughout the community.”
Aerotek Design Labs, LLC, located at 24119 W. Riverwalk Court, Suite 147 in Plainfield is an aerospace technology company serving the needs of the commercial and general aviation marketplace. Aerotek, founded in October 2006, provides system design, engineering, manufacturing and technical repair services for U.S. based and overseas aviation companies.
“On behalf of our entire staff, it is a privilege to accept this award,” said Greg Chapman, Managing member of Aerotek. “We view community service as a critical component of our business and a special responsibility of us as citizens and neighbors. We are very proud of the tremendous work done by the civic and charitable organizations we partner with.”
Aerotek’s extensive community involvement includes support of the following projects and organizations: the Village of Plainfield’s Settlers Park Concert Series, Plainfield Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program, the Plainfield Emergency Management Agency, Plainfield Fire Department – National Fire Safety Council, Plainfield Lions Club, The Miracle League of Joliet, Blackbird Cancer Foundation of Will and Grundy County, the Spanish Community Center (Joliet), the March of Dimes – Illinois chapter, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
