The Plainfield Township Republican Organization will host a nonpartisan candidate forum at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Plainfield Township Office, 22525 W. Lockport St., Plainfield.

All candidates in the April 5 election have been invited to attend, regardless of political affiliation. More than a dozen have accepted.

The event will be moderated by the organization's secretary Tom Hett. Admission is free.
