D. 202 Service Clubs to Collect and Donate Teddy Bears to Children's Hospital

All four District 202 high schools will team up to collect new teddy bears and stuffed animals for patients at Children's Memorial Hospital.

The Key and Interact Clubs at Plainfield High School – Central Campus; the Key Clubs at Plainfield North and East high schools; and the Cougar/Key Club at Plainfield South High School will collect the stuffed animals at each school's home boys' basketball game against the other D. 202 schools.

All stuffed animals and teddy bears must be new with the tags still attached.

The clubs will compete against each other to see which school can collect the most information. Fans attending any of the games should bring their donations on behalf of their respective school.

Stuffed animals will be collected at the following games. Schools listed in bold are the home team for each respective date and opponent listed below.

Plainfield South

  • 1/20 vs. East
  • 1/27 vs. Central
  • 2/3 vs. North

Plainfield Central

  • 12/2 vs. South
  • 1/20 vs. North
  • 1/31 vs. East

Plainfield North

  • 12/6 vs. South
  • 1/6 vs. East
  • 2/17 vs. Central

Plainfield East

  • 12/9 vs. Central
  • 2/7 vs. North
  • 2/17 vs. South
