Dear Carole,

Been forever, but something made me google Don's name. Just wondering what ever happened since sixth grade math at Laraway! So sorry to hear about the end of s journey for him. My mom also taight at Oak Valley - she passed in 2004, but never really left her connections to the school, the students...you know the story.

Turns out I am teaching science now - Quaker school in Delaware. Twenty-two years all added up. Two daughters, one in college, one in high school.

Hope you are recovering and doing well in SC. We go down to Pawleys Island every summer with my husband's family. It's lovely!

My best and warmest wishes,

Ellen Johnson, Helen's daughter.
