Joseph Beatty has been appointed chairman of the Edward Hospital Board of Trustees, which oversees Edward Hospital in Naperville and Edward Plainfield Hospital in Plainfield. Beatty has been a board member since 2004. He is president and CEO of Telular Corp., a publicly held provider of wireless monitoring solutions headquartered in Chicago. He was born in Chicago and received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.
