The Plainfield Chamber of Commerce recently conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony for new alternative health care provider for the area, Elite Rehabilitation Institute Plainfield, owner Dr. Anthony Pirie with Clinic Director Dr. Ryan Foster. Representing the Chamber were members of the Chamber staff, fellow Chamber members, and members of the board of directors.
Dr Pirie graduated from National University of Health Sciences with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Pirie immediately went into private practice but with the ever changing health care system saw the need to expand and currently has six locations in the Chicago land area. Dr. Pirie has built a strong reputation with his patients as well as numerous health care providers in the cities in which he works. He has expertise in workers compensation and personal injury. His goals are to offer his patients every option to get them well.
A year ago Dr. Pirie and class mate from National University, Dr. Foster joined forces in supporting Elite Rehabilitation’s Channahon Clinic. Dr. Foster who saw the vision Dr. Pirie had, left the Channahon location to open the sixed location for Elite Rehabilitation in Plainfield. Dr. Foster, specializing in pediatrics brings passion to the health care industry through his own experience. When he was 18 years of age a car accident left him paralyzed his Mom searched for other treatment options, and found a traumatic brain-injury rehabilitation facility, which gave him all he needed, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, neurological rehab, and later chiropractic. Together all the treatments gave him the ability to function at an optimal level.
