Herbert D. Pasch, age 78 of Plainfield, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012. He was born on April 30, 1934 in Hinsdale, IL the son of Herbert A. and Louise (Bendien) Pasch.

Mr. Pasch served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1955-1957. Herbert was united in marriage on March 31, 1956 in Hinsdale, IL to the former Miss Marilyn Bennison and they spent the next 56 happy years of their lives together.

He was for several years the owner and operator of the Launder-Rite Laundromat in Naperville, IL. Herbert was a member of Helmar Lutheran Church, Newark, IL. He was an active long-time member of both the Midwest Chapter of the Model T Ford Club and the Joliet Area Model A Club.

Herbert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Marilyn Pasch of Plainfield, IL; his sons, Terry (June) Pasch of Oswego, IL, Donald Pasch of Plainfield, IL, and Kevin (Ellen) Pasch of Plainfield, IL; his grandchildren, Allen and Matthew (Megan) Pasch, Michael and Don Pasch, and Jason, Ben, Sarah, and Scott Pasch; his brother, Lester (Diane) Pasch of Lisle, IL; as well as, one niece and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, John Pasch, and one nephew.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Helmar Lutheran Church, 11935 Lisbon Road, Newark, IL with Pastor Dennis Norby officiating. Interment will follow to the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Parkway, Yorkville, IL.
