The Plainfield Park District Foundation will host its 2nd Annual Spring Beer and Wine tasting at 7 p.m. April 28 at 25151 119th St. (at the corner Normantown Road).

Those attending will have a chance to taste different wine and beer provided in part by Jay and Terri Darnell of T-Bird’s Liquor’s. There will also be an Adult Egg Hunt at 8 p.m. Some of the eggs will have valuable prizes. Entertainment and a silent auction will be available throughout the night.

The funds raised will go to help subsidize the children’s egg hunt for 2012 and fund scholarships that the foundation provides to families in need with-in the Plainfield Park District. T-Bird’s will donate any profits they make on sales generated by the benefit back to the foundation! Pinnacle Builders will be donating the location and food for the event.

Tickets are $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Recreation Administration Center, 23729 West Ottawa, at T-Birds Liquor’s or from any Foundation Member.
