Plainfield North, South Students Win 12 Special Olympics Medals
Fourteen Plainfield South and East high school special education students competed – and 12 earned medals -- at the May 7 Special Olympics Spring Games at Thornwood High School in South Holland.
The annual track and field event celebrates the Special Olympics motto, “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."
