Register now for the 6th annual Plainfield Park District ‘Spook-tacular’ Haunted Houses Halloween outdoor decorating contest (program #16402A1)! Prizes will be given in two categories: most family-friendly house and scariest house. The contest is open to all Plainfield Park District residents and the cost is $10 per house. The registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 19. All decorations must be visible from the sidewalk as judging will take place from the sidewalk only. A contest committee will judge all entries on Wednesday, Oct. 24 and/or Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6-10 p.m. (depending on the number of houses to be judged). Winners will be contacted on Friday, Oct. 26. All contest committee decisions will be final. In addition, a map of addresses will be available on the Plainfield Park District website for the public to view by Wednesday, Oct. 24.
