Plainfield Park District Fall Early Learning Classes Open for Enrollment

The Plainfield Park District's Fall Early Learning classes are now open for enrollment.

"1, 2, 3, Come Learn with Me!" for three-year olds will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays Sept. 7 to Dec. 14 at the recreation/administration center.

The program will help children learn and develop age-appropriate skills. The class will feature weekly themes, crafts, games, music and play.

The program will cost $350 for residents and $525 for non-residents.

The "2 + 2 = 4-Year-Old FUN!" program for four-year olds will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Sept. 8 to Dec. 15 at the recreation/administration center.

Indoor and outdoor activities such as productive play, creative projects, active moment and other classroom-learning activities will be featured.

The program will cost $350 for residents and $525 for non-residents.

"Kindergarten Readiness," for four and-a-half to five-year olds will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Sept. 8 to Dec. 15 at the Streams Recreation Center.

The program will focus on social skills, motor skills, writing, counting, letter sounds, math activities and other skills needed before entering school.

The program will cost $350 for residents and $525 for non-residents.

Participating children must be toilet-trained and age-appropriate to register for classes.

The registration deadline is Sept. 2.
