Teens and pre-teens are invited to join the Plainfield Park District for a day of skiing and snowboarding at The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva in Wisconsin. The trip for ages 10-15 will take place on Thursday, Dec. 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $95 for residents as well as non-residents and includes transportation, ski or snowboard rental, and lift ticket. Lift ticket only is $79. A complimentary beginner lesson is provided for all participants, and lunch is included. Participants should bring extra money for lockers and snacks if desired. Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the Recreation/Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St. in Plainfield. The registration deadline is Thursday, Dec. 20.
