The Plainfield North High School Cross Country teams hosted its Third Annual Run-a-Thon Sept. 6.
Approximately 42 members of the freshman, sophomore/junior varsity, and varsity teams ran for one hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The teams earned around $2,300 in pledges. A portion of the proceeds will go to the ACS, while some will benefit the team.
