Always a great learning experience. Reenacting may seem strange to some, but those involved learn much about the day to day life of the 1860's. It serves as an excellent way to bring kids interest in US history to life.
A link to a 1996 Plainfield Community TV short film concerning kids during the war. It's a drama made with the help of Civil War buffs.
