Available pets can also be viewed at www.helpsavepets.org. Adoption donations range from $29 to $399 for cats and dogs and include spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, first distemper vaccine, fecal test, first de-worming, heartworm test (if applicable), canine bordetella, feline leukemia test (if applicable) and a microchip identification implant.

I adopted my Jack Russell from Help Save Pets Plainfield about 8 years ago. What a great breed and what a terriffic place to get a dog from!

sorry to hear. i would not trust this place to get a hamster from. Business employs liars and misrepresents their services, period.

jwhalen, sorry to hear you have obviously had a negative experience. Not sure your hasty generalization of all their employees is necessary, though. I have a new dog, adopted from a shelter in Dekalb, and the Animal Care Center has been great for us. The employees (doctors and desk staff) have been very kind, informative, and patient with us; as new pet owners.

I take it you have not had any potential life threatening issues with your dog yet. ok, you did not watch their so called "ambulatory vehicle" pump 10 bucks of gas with your intubated dog in the back seat. yes- chevy cobalt with 2 grown adults in the back with my 60 lb dog. Showed up in aurora 94 degrees, wet, in a coma from lack of O2 after being in their clinic for 4.5 hours. No oxygen or heat on the ride either. And yes there is much more to this story. Trust me I have plenty of proof and yes I agree there may be a decent doctor in the place being they have 12 - but the business is a complete joke! Like I said, i would not even buy a heartworm pill from this place.
