Lost, Found Dogs Reported in Plainfield

Do you recognize these pooches?

The Lost Dogs Illinois Facebook page was getting the word out about lost pets in the Plainfield area Tuesday morning.

Casper & Sadie

A pair of lost pets, a cockapoo and Yorkiepoo by the names of Casper and Sadie, were reported missing in the area of Route 59 and Frasier Road on Nov. 15.

The animals are described as 5 and 25 pounds, respectively; one is black and the other is tan and white. Both are wearing collar with tags.

Anyone who spots the pooches is asked to call 815-782-8018 or email Krystijb@yahoo.com. To view the post on Lost Dogs Illinois, click here.

I am so heartbroken to report that our dogs "Casper and Sadie" were taken to Joliet Animal Shelter and they were adopted by two separate families. We were just contacted after someone from the agency saw this article on the post to let us know they followed the law by keeping them for 7 days then putting them up for adoption. My family and children are devastated!

Well, at least they were not eaten by the coyotes!
