Plainfield Woman Sues Over Shattered Beer Tap Handle
Sandra Tinson says she was permanently disfigured by the accident, which occurred when she was working at a DuPage County bar, according to the lawsuit she filed.
A Plainfield woman who says she required multiple surgeries after a beer tap handle broke and sliced through her hand, wrist and arm is suing Two Brothers Brewing and its distributor.
Sandra Tinson, an assistant at Tom & Eddie's in DuPage County when the August 2010 accident occurred, is seeking more than $50,000 in damages from the Warrenville-based brewer, the Windy City Distribution Co. and Taphandles LLC of Seattle, according to a story in the Chicago Sun-Times.
