DUI, drug charges

Michael Moreno, 25, of the 1000 block of Murphy Drive, Joliet, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:23 p.m. at Renwick Road and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said. Bond amount was $1,500.

Sept. 2

Alcohol arrest

Juan Almeras, 51, of the 700 block of Superior Street, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 127th Street and Route 30 and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, police said.

Sept. 7

Assault charge

Michael Gaylord, 54, of the 22000 block of 143rd Street, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on an aggravated assault charge. he was released Sept. 8 after posting $1,000 bond, according to jail records.

DUI arrest

Adam C. Costillo, 22, of the 13000 block of Meadow, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use, according to booking records. He was released Sept. 8 after posting $10,000 bond.
