Photos with Santa are as time-honored a Christmas tradition as hanging your stocking by the fireplace and leaving carrots for St. Nick's reindeer.

Your own childhood Santa photos and those of your children are no doubt a lot different than this but I'll bet one thing remains the same: at one time or another the faces in them are smiling, impish, befuddled, crying or scared. They're precious memories that most parents wouldn't trade for anything.

We would love to see them!

So, here's what I'm hoping you will do:

Send me a photo or photos I can post on Plainfield Patch. You can either post it yourself by adding a picture to the this story or you can e-mail them to me at karen@patch.com and I'll post them for you.

As a small incentive, we will have a random drawing in which 25 people who post photos will receive a Patch water bottle or tote bag. And one lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to RoSal's Pizza at 13717 U.S. 30.

You can post as many as you like but only one prize per family will be awarded. If you post them online, don't forget to send me your e-mail with you contact info so I can let you know if you've won.

I'll keep all photos posted through New Year's, and I'll rotate them so that every one goes on the home page at least once.
