Firestone on 119th and Rt59 - I have been bringing my cars here for oil changes and service for the past 6 years. I have not once had an experience which would make me doubt their, honesty, integrity or quality of work and parts. They always have a special on oil changes and other services. Their work complies with manufacturer warranty and they keep a complete electronic history. I especially like a special they have when your getting an oil change where they check out everything. I like the life time rotation and alignment. I just bought new tires for my Subaru and they had the best tire and price, even beat out Costco.

The Crossroads auto spa overfilled my car with oil with caused the engine to shut down. I had to have my car towed to the Toyota Dealer in Joliet and they confirmed that the car was overfilled with oil. The repairs cost me over $ 500 and Crossroads owner refused to pay for one cent of the repairs. I will never take my car to Crossroads and have made sure that at least 20 of my friends no longer go to this business. This is not the first time this has happened but it was the last time for me.

Roots, you obviously read the topic wrong...It says Pick the Best...Not Whine and Complain. Save that for another day.

Bartel's Auto, I figured that I would try this new business that just opened in Plainfield. I was greeted by a very friendly manager and service was prompt and professional. Usually when I bring my car in for oil changes they have a problem resetting computer, but Bartel's mechanics connected their computer to my car and reset everything in minutes.

Why is "Last Chance Auto Repair" not listed here? Servicing Plainfield, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Illinois residents since 1978. They've been doing business with Plainfield residents longer than most of the auto repair shops in Plainfield, IL.
