Vote to Help Local Animal Shelter Win $10,000
Help Save Pets is in the running for a $10,000 grant through Purina ONE's "Shine a Light on a Shelter" campaign.
Now through noon on Monday, Aug. 20, you have the chance to help a local animal rescue win much-needed funds to help care for homeless pets.
Help Save Pets of Plainfield is vying for a $10,000 grant from Purina ONE through the "Shine a Light on a Shelter" campaign.
HSP is one of 40 shelters nominated to be part of the voting. Community members are uged to vote for their favorites, according to the website:
There is so much good work going on in animal shelters across the country and we want to recognize it! Join the Shine a Light on a Shelter Challenge and you can win a $10,000 grant for a shelter you think goes above and beyond to make a positive difference.
To vote for HSP, visit the "Shine a Light" website and register by clicking "join" in the top right corner — then you can cast your vote.

A truly worthwhile effort - they place 800-1000 pets a year in new homes for the last 3 years! A great group of volunteers who work tirelessly to help homeless cats and dogs find forever homes. Please help!
