Woman Charged with DUI After Crash

Crystal Arnold, 30, was charged after her vehicle crash through a traffic circle and struck a boulder last Sunday in Plainfield.

 

A 30-year-old from Plainfield is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after her minivan crashed through a traffic circle and struck a boulder, according to police.

Crystal Arnold, of the 2600 block of Sierra Avenue, was charged with DUI following the incident, according to Plainfield  police arrest reports.

Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton said Arnold was taken to Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet for observation after the crash, which happened shortly before midnight on Sept. 30.

Bond for Arnold, who was also cited for improper traffic lane use, was $3,000, police said. She is due in court Nov. 2, according to Will County Circuit Court records.

OK, I give up. What part of consuming a alcoholic beverage or two, then driving a motor vehicle don't people understand? Her insurance company will say good-bye, and then she'll have to go to a high risk company, and get a part time job to pay for it.

How lucky is everyone driving that night that she hit a bolder and not them or their loved one?! This is God's way of protecting us from the morons!
