The 61st annual Plainfield Lions Club Creche Lighting program will take place on Saturday, November 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Plymouth Congregational Church. The Christmas story will be read from the Bible, Christmas hymns will be sung, and our guest artists are the Plainfield East High School Madrigals and the Plainfield Community Chorus. A holiday sing-along will begin at 6:45 p.m. (A freewill offering will be taken for the Plainfield Ministerial Association Crisis and Emergency Fund.)
Following the program, we will gather outside around the Creche to sing Silent Night as the life-size Nativity scene is illuminated for the first time this season. Please join us for this Plainfield holiday tradition!

More About Plymouth Congregational Church
Reverend Bill Beagle has helmed Plymouth Congregational Church for three years. His church is involved in the community and used by local groups such as the La Leche League. The "Knitwits," a group of female church members, knit hats and prayer shawls for cancer victims. Every fifth Sunday the congregation skips the worship service to do community service projects. Beagle is also the chaplain for the Plainfield Police Department and for the NHRA at Route 66 Speedway.
