 ealth and child care\, recreational and community services will particip
 ate in State Rep. Tom Cross&rsquo\; Kid&rsquo\;s Fair 2012 to be held on
  Saturday\, June 2 from 9:00am &ndash\; 12:30pm at Troy Middle School\, 
 5800 Theodore St.\nAdmission to the event is FREE with complimentary ref
 reshments and giveaways also provided. Information will be available on 
 topics such as cyber bullying\, fire safety\, bicycle safety\, after-sch
 ool programs\, daycare\, nutrition\, internet safety\, transportation\, 
 backpack safety and library programs\; to name just a few.\n&ldquo\;Our 
 Kids Fair showcases the tremendous local resources and activities availa
 ble to kids and families throughout our area\,&rdquo\; said Cross. &ldqu
 o\;I encourage every local family to stop by and check out all that our 
 community has to offer. Our Kids Fair is interactive\, fun\, and informa
 tional for families of all ages.&rdquo\;\nDemonstrations at the event in
 clude the Illinois Dance Academy (9am)\; the GymQuest/DanceQuest of Plai
 nfield (9:30am)\; the Traveling Reptile Show (10am)\; ATL Youth Sports (
 11am)\; Joliet Police K-9 Unit (11:30am)\; and the Starr Dance Studio (1
 2pm). A drawing for giveaways is scheduled for 12:30pm. The Touch-A-Truc
 k exhibit featuring over 22 trucks will be located in the parking lot.&n
