Final 2012-13 Community Coffee with Plainfield Superintendent
District 202 residents are invited and encouraged to attend the third and final of this year’s three “Community Coffees with the Superintendent” on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
The Coffee will be held from 8:30-10 a.m. at the district administrative center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield.
The Coffees are a popular means to meet and get information from District 202 Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Harper and key members of his administration. The Coffees are free and registration is not required. Refreshments will be available.
Attendees “set” each Coffee's agenda through their questions. Community members may ask about and discuss any appropriate subject, as time allows.

More About Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202
Plainfield's first school opened in 1833, but the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 was not established until 1925. Encompassing 64 square miles, the district includes Plainfield, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Crest Hill, Lockport, the unincorporated Will and Kendall counties and parts of Joliet. The area has gone through a building boom over the last two decades, resulting in an enrollment that has skyrocketed from just 500 students and five schools in 1990 to almost 30,000 students and 25 schools in 2010.
