The Plainfield Park District will host its 5th annual Kids Garage Sale (program #26407A1) in the parking lot of Renwick Community Park, located on Renwick Road west of Route 59. This sale is strictly for children’s toys, games, books, sports equipment, clothes and collectibles. Sellers must provide their own tables, chairs and bank. Adult supervision is required per space. The cost is $22 per space for residents and $33 per space for non-residents. One garage sale space is equal to two parking spaces. To purchase more than one space, register a different family member to reserve the second space. Registration deadline is Monday, June 4. Fee is non-refundable after this date. Information packets will be sent to registered sellers one week prior to the event. A rain date is scheduled for Friday, June 29.

More About Renwick Community Park
Renwick Community Park offers recreational parks and serves residents throughout Plainfield and portions of Na-Au-Say and Wheatland. It provides sports leagues, family programs and other activities. Renwick Community Park spans more that 40 square miles and includes approximately 80 parks within its boundaries. The park is funded by state statute to levy taxes, issue bonds, donations and park fees. It has several building sites, including the Normantown Trails Equestrian Center, Recreation/Administration Center, Ottawa Street Pool, River Edge Recreation Center and the Streams Recreation Center. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Park District property. Residents may rent picnic shelters, pony rides, the pool area for parties, hayrack rides and more.
