The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation is kicking off planning for Plainfield Fest 2013. We are inviting volunteers from the Plainfield community to join our planning team. The kick-off meeting will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 29, at the Riverfront Center building located at the south end of Electric Park west of the DuPage River and south of Lockport Street.

Calling all volunteers, we're kicking off planning for Plainfield Fest 2013 with a fest committee meeting on Tuesday, January 29th, at 7 pm. If you would like to get involved, we'd love to see you there! Thank you.

If you went to the fest last year, and have good,productive input as to what events you would like to put your personal touch on, then get involved by attending this meeting and make 2013 a banner year for fun. The Riverfront Center building is at the south end of the one lane road between the river and the RR tracks on the S side of Lockport St. If any students are in an "Event Planning" curriculum (Hello JJC, if you are out there) I would encourage you to attend and get some Hands On exposure--We need young minds.

I have planned Summerfest at Wesmere Country Club in Plainfield for the last 9 years for over 1800 residents. I would love to attend this meeting and help plan this wonderful event for our community.
