Learn About Raw Food Pantries in Plainfield
Plus: District 202 hosts an autism information night, and judges will be out to find the spookiest houses in Plainfield.
Peter Rubi, 15412 S. Route 59, will host a seminar for residents interesting in learning more about raw and living food pantries. "What's in a Raw Food Pantry" is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the produce store. Click here for details on how to sign up.
Tuesday is also judgment day — literally — for contestants in the Plainfield Park District's "Spooktacular Haunted Houses" decorating contest. Judges will be checking out Halloween yard displays from 7 to 10 p.m. A map of "haunted" addresses will also be posted on the park district website. Click to learn more.
Finally, Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 will present an autism information night from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Plainfield South High School, 7800 Caton Farm Road.
