Plainfield Park Board Meets; Coffee with Collins Set for Wednesday

Mark your calendars.

Controversy — including the hiring of a new director — has created high attendance at recent Plainfield Park District meetings.

The next meeting is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, in the lower level of the Heritage Professional Building, 24023 W. Lockport St. (southeast corner of Lockport and Illinois streets).

The agenda, available here, includes a vote on whether to adopt a security camera policy for the Ottawa Street Pool, a resolution to lease vacant property for a park site and a planning update on the DuPage River trail.
