Plainfield Park District Hosts Flick-N-Float

Also happening Wednesday: Mobile workforce will be at the Plainfield library.

Families can enjoy a movie while floating along at the Ottawa Street Pool Wednesday at the Plainfield Park District's Flick-N-Float event.

A screening of the Robin Williams/Cheryl Hines comedy "RV" is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the pool, 23820 W. Ottawa St. The 2006 movie is rated PG.

The event is free to season pass holders and $3 for non-season pass holders. Registration will be taken at the door.

Also on Wednesday, the Will County Workforce Services Division will bring its mobile workforce center to the Plainfield Public Library's Route 59 parking lot from 9:30 a.m. to noon to help job-seekers. Services are free and open to all adults. Registration is not required.
