Plainfield School Hosts Final Common Core Forum
Event is Wednesday at Timber Ridge Middle School.
The fourth and final community forum about the Common Core State Standards for learning will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Timber Ridge Middle School, 2101 Bronk Rd., Plainfield.
The Common Core standards are new learning expectations that will have a significant impact on public education.
The forum includes an overview of the Common Core standards, perspectives from three teachers, and a chance to ask questions. The event is free and refreshments will be served.
