Plainfield Weather: Sunshine to Give Way to Snow

Expect some wet weather, but temperatures will remain relatively mild.

Updated at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 14.

Plainfield got a respite from harsh winter weather Sunday and Monday, with plenty of sunshine.

But that will likely change Tuesday, with a chance of snow, possibly mixed with rain and sleet, mainly before noon, according to the National Weather Service. Total daytime accumulation is expected to be less than half an inch.

According to the NWS, Tuesday night could bring more snow, mostly before midnight, with a low around 17. Tuesday's predicted high is around 37 degrees.

Wednesday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and a high near 20.
