Sub-Zero Wind Chills to Return, Plus More Snow

Expect colder temperatures, and possibly more snow on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, freezing temperatures, along with high winds and snow, are set to return to Will County.


After temperatures around 30 degrees Sunday and Monday, the NWS is predicting a 50 percent chance of snow Monday night, along with wind chill values as low as -17 and wind gusts of up to 25 mph.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and cold, according to the forecast, with a high near 9 and wind gusts up to 20 mph. Tuesday night, expect a low around -3.

Wednesday, there's a 40 percent chance of snow, with a high near 18.

Sunshine should return Thursday, but the high is expected to hover around 10 degrees, with a low around -2.

Friday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high near 23.
