Wind Chill Advisory Cancelled

Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m.

Update, 7 a.m. Jan. 29:

The wind chill advisory for Will County has been cancelled, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS' forecast calls for a chance of snow Thursday, with accumulation of up to an inch. Another period of accumulating snow is possible on Friday and Saturday, with the potential for "a few to several inches of snow."

The wind chill warning for Will and Kendall counties has been downgraded to an advisory, effective until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is predicting wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph, and wind chill values 15 to 25 below zero Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday night and early Wednesday, the wind chill could fall to 20 to 30 below zero.
