Edward Hospital Spring Physical Activity Challenge

Are you getting a healthy dose of physical activity?  Edward Hospital’s Spring Physical Activity Challenge can help nurture the habit of staying active, exercising and moving your body.  Participants will earn points for physical activity, which can include anything from walking and gardening to bicycling and rock climbing.

The free six-week challenge begins on Monday, May 5.  Participants can track either minutes of activity (moderate or vigorous) or daily steps using a pedometer, with a goal of 946 points by June 16.  Those who achieve the goal will be entered in a drawing to win a Fitbit activity tracker.

To sign up, visit www.edward.extracon.com.  Once you’ve registered or signed in, click the “Enroll in a Challenge” button and select the Physical Activity Challenge to get started.  This is an online-only program and activity will be self-reported by the participants.
