Park District Special “Discussion” Video is Posted
Below are the links for the two-part video of the Plainfield Township Park District’s special “meeting” that really wasn’t a meeting. I’m not trying to be a wise guy, this one is just legitimately confusing and I wasn’t able to be there. As I understand it, it started out as a “PTPD Special Meeting”, but then there wasn’t a quorum of commissioners present, so it was going to be called a “Committee Meeting”, per Peter Hurtado. But, he and Peter Steinys were the only commissioners there and the topic was “recent events at Renwick Park”, or in layman’s terms the investigation into PSA’s missing property, and there isn’t any such “committee” for that. So, I guess in the end it was called a “public discussion”? Again, I wasn’t there and people are asking for the video sooner than later, so I’m posting it prior to my having the time to watch it all myself. I just confirmed that it’s complete and has sound! Thanks to the person who operated the camera in my stead.
