Plainfield Cheetah Girls Lacrosse Team (High School Co-Op) Wins First Game

The Plainfield Cheetah Lacrosse team has formed a Co-Op team for the four Plainfield High Schools. We are, like all other high school lacrosse teams in Illinois, an emerging sport in IHSA. We are members of the Illinois High School Women's Lacrosse Association (IHSWLA). This is the governing body in Illinois and where games are scheduled.

Per IHSA rules first year teams can only carry a JV team. We played our first game on Saturday, April 5th  against Conant High School's F/S team and won 10-0. It was an awesome way to start our season and inaugural year. Most of our players are new to the sport and have worked really hard the past few months learning the sport.

Chasia Warshow (PEHS)had 4 goals and 2 assists. Kerrin Williams (PEHS) had 4 goals, Olivia Skummer( PSHS) had one goal. Emma Vasquez (PEHS) had one goal. Katrina Barangan (PNHS) had 2 assists. Emily Morthhorst (PNHS), goalie, had one save. Our defense did an amazing job. We are coached by Eva Kissel. She played for Indiana Tech.
