Plainfield Park District to host Egg-citing Activities April 12

The Plainfield Park District will host an Egg-citing Activities event on Saturday, April 12. The event, which includes a craft, a snack, and an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny, will take place at Clow Stephens, located on Lily Cache Rd. south of Rt. 30.

The event will start at 11 a.m., with crafts and snacks until 11:30 a.m. The egg hunt will be divided into age groups. Participants age 3 and younger (with an adult) will scramble for eggs at 11 a.m., followed by 4- and 5-year-olds at 11:15 a.m., and 6- and 7-year-olds at 11:30 a.m. (Please note that the Plainfield Park District will host two Flashlight Egg Hunts for kids ages 7-12 on Friday, April 11.)

The cost is $5 per participant for residents, and $7.50 per participant for non-residents. Pre-registration is required by Monday, April 7. No on-site registration will be allowed. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and all participants are asked to bring their own basket or bag for collecting eggs. The event will take place rain or shine.
