PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP ANNUAL TOWN MEETING-APRIL 8th

If anybody knew…our Plainfield Township Government will have an annual Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, April 8th starting at 6pm at the Plainfield Township Office located at 22525 W. Lockport Street in Plainfield.

 

Agenda items for the Town Hall meeting can be adopted by a group of fifteen or more registered voters in the township by submitting the item to the township clerk by March 1, 2014. It should be noted, since March 1st falls on a Saturday and the Plainfield Township office is closed, the last day for submitting an item is this coming Friday, February 28th.

The item must be submitted in writing and signed by at least 15 registered voters of Plainfield Township.

Successful adoption of a lawful agenda item must be accepted by the Township Board.

 

 

So, if you have an item you wish to be included on the agenda for the April 8th Township Town Hall meeting, you have until this coming Friday.

 

Just a note: the there is no requirement that Townships must inform the electorate of the agenda setting deadline, just the method of posting the meeting notice.
