Plainfield Township Polling Location Changes for the Upcoming Primary Election on March 18th--Plainfield Precincts 2, 10, 21 & 22

There have been some changes in Plainfield Township concerning polling locations.

Four Precincts: Plainfield 2, 10, 21 & 22 have been assigned new locations.

The new location, as well as the former location and the reasons for moving the polling places are noted below.

Voters in PLAINFIELD PRECINCT 2, who formerly voted at Citizens First National Bank 14429 S. Wallin Drive, Plainfield, are now assigned to the Plainfield Police Department 14300 Coil Plus Drive, Plainfield. The Will County Clerk’s office received a notice from a spokesperson for Citizens First National Bank the upstairs room formerly was used as a polling place, is now being used as a training hub for many bank branches.

Voters in PLAINFIELD PRECINCT 10, who formerly voted at Plainfield Township Park District 23729 W. Ottawa Street, Plainfield, are now assigned to Plainfield Central High School 24120 Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield. The Will County Clerk’s office received a notice from Wendi a spokesperson from the Plainfield Park District, informing the Clerk’s office the Park District office will no longer be used as a polling place.

 

Voters in PLAINFIELD PRECINCT 21, who formerly voted at Wedgewood Golf Course Rt. 59 & Caton Farm Road, Plainfield, are now assigned to Ridge Elementary School 1900 Caton Ridge Road, Plainfield. This may be temporary, as there is construction occurring and the Wedgewood Golf Course could not be used for the March Primary.

 

Voters in PLAINFIELD PRECINCT 22, who also formerly voted at Wedgewood Golf Course Rt. 59 & Caton Farm Road, Plainfield, are now assigned to Three Rivers Church 23901 W. Rolf Road, Plainfield. This may be temporary, as there is construction occurring and the Wedgewood Golf Course could not be used for the March Primary.

 

Per the Will County Clerk’s office, all registered voters in these precincts were mailed a new voter id card and given this information on their Voter Information Guide.  Additional signage will be provided to the election judges to post outside.

Plus, per the Will County Clerk’s office, Polling Place Change signs are to be placed at the old poll locations. These will be placed by the Field Techs the night before the opening of the polls. 

Also, per the Will County Clerk’s office, Plainfield Precinct 2, 10, 21 & 22 were the only 4 precincts that were changed in Plainfield Township.

On March 18th, polling locations will open at 6am and will be remain open until 7pm.

As you may know, there are many options afforded voters each election, so please exercise your right to vote.
