PTPD special mtng of June 26th video is up

Below are two brief clips—no kidding, just 1min 39 secs and 27 secs!—that comprise the video-recording of the Special Meeting of the PTPD on Thursday, June 26th, 2014.  This apparently was just a meeting of the board to determine which applicants for the open position of Executive Director of the park district to interview.  So, it’s very dull stuff and I apologize for it being really very badly recorded.  The meeting was back at the Ottawa Street PTPD admin offices and the room was configured in a way that was sort of lop-sided in seating for everyone so the angles are terrible.  I should have gotten there with more time to spare to maybe do better.  That’s really it.  I don’t usually do this bit, but the content of the meeting really was:

·         Convene

·         No one had anything to say in any comments section

·         Motion to adjourn to closed session as per the agenda passed

·         Reconvene after closed session (I think it was about 20 mins later?)

·         No action items

·         Adjourn

More special meetings currently set for 6p at the Ottawa St. offices on BOTH Wednesday, July 2nd with a motion on the agenda at that meeting to reconvene and continue at the same time and place on Monday, July 7th.  DON’T FORGET THE REGULAR AND MORE PUBLIC BUSINESS MEETING IS SLATED FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 9TH AT 6P AT THE HPC BLDG LOWER-LEVEL.  Although, always check locations just in case on the PTPD website:  http://www.plainfieldparkdistrict.com/about-board.asp
