BNB - we will stop these people, no matter how long it takes. Their game is up, and it is over. I hope the PTRO either dissolves, or reorganizes with different leadership. I see Matthew Starr is running against Silosky, both of them are members of the PTRO, and it is nice to see that their are people in that group that haven't been playing along with the nonsense of the leadership. I also see Ernie Knight is running against Allie(pecks next ex-wife), both also republicans from the PTRO. Remember, Ernie was one of the people that came out and signed his name to the letter opposing the actions of the board majority, when it was not popular to do so, and when the leadership of the PTRO kept silent. He deserves to be recognized for his integrity.

The unknown candidate, Fannie Tharpe, actually has a legitimate shot at walking right in, strictly by virtue of being unknown, thanks to her opponent. Gotta love this!

Actually, Frank...the "unknown" candidate, Ms. Fannie Tharpe is the currently appointed Democratic Precinct Committeewoman in Plainfield Precinct 8. Ms. Tharpe has no opponent, as she is running unopposed on the Democratic ballot available to the registered voters in her precinct. Each Precinct Committeeman or woman is elected for a two-year term at the General Primary Election via a partisan (political party) ballot. After the election is finalized “open” Precincts may be filled via a request of the respective Township Chairperson to their respective Party’s County Chairperson.
