Spring Fitness Challenge - The Best Results that STICK!
Think Spring!!! It might be cold and snowy right now, but before you know it, the shorts will come out and the sleeves will get shorter...will you be ready or will you still have your Winter "coat"? Our 8-week Fitness Challenge is for anyone who wants to make substantial, healthy, lifestyle changes that will STICK!!! This program makes one change at a time, making it something you can stick with for the long term, rather than a fad diet that does not! The Challenge begins with an initial fitness assessment and measurements, which will be held Saturday, March 1st at 7AM and Monday, March 3rd at 5AM and 6AM at ESP Complex (2050 Mitchell, Oswego) Point accumulation will begin Monday March 3rd, when you will receive
- .25 pts for each 15min bout of exercise you complete. Boot Campers will receive 1.25 points for each class (since we know how hard you have to work there)!
- Week 2 you will receive points for working out and points for water consumption (1 point each day if you consume 64oz or more).
- Weeks 3 & 4 you will receive points for working out and water consumption PLUS points for fruit and vegetable consumption (5 servings = 1 pt, .25 pts for each additional serving).
- Weeks 5 & 6 you will receive points for working out, water, fruits and vegetables, PLUS 1 pt each day you consume 3 servings of protein (1 needs to be a non-dairy, non-meat source).
- Weeks 7 & 8, n addition to the points for the workouts, water, fruits & vegetables, and protein, you will receive 2 POINTS for each day you eat clean (no processed foods). Of course the last two weeks are the toughest, but by the time you get there, you're practically doing it already!
