Timber Ridge Middle Schooler Chris Gore invited to represent area at All American Bowl at the Citris Bowl in Orlando, FL in late December. Chris, 13 years old and a player for Naperville Patriots Junior Midget Red (coached by Joe Costello and Chris's Dad Dave Gore) attended the Offense Defense Camp at North Centeal College in June. While at camp Chris demonstrated his knowledge and talent at the linebacker position and his coaches at O-D camp gave him the weekly performance award which automatically selects him to the All American Bowl being played at the Citrus Bowl in December. As honored as Chris and proud his family is Chris will not be attending because of financial constraints - Chris will be attending Nationals in Tampa, FL in early December with his Naperville Patriots team. His Dad, David Gore, has been his football coach since Chris first started playing football at 7 years old with the Plainfield Prowlers. His Mom, Kim Gore, is a special education teacher at Grand Prairie Elementary School. Chris is a triplet and his brothers, James and Matt, are also 8th graders at Timber Ridge. Chris still holds hope that he will be able to attend the Bowl game but he is extremely honored just to be invited to play.
