Vote for the Bat

I just received in the mail today another handbill decrying "Vote for the Bat." I have to ask, are you serious? A bat, according to the World English Dictionary, is "any mammal of the order Marsupialia,  in which the young are born in an immature state and continue development in the marsupium, or pouch," many of whom are rabid. I would not vote for that. Nor would I utilize the services of a urologist named Kutcherkockov; nor would I use the services of the law firm Oui, Cheatum & Howe; nor would I rely on Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara to solve crime in Plainfield, although there is no shortage of Jokers, Riddlers and Catwomen around here lately.
