Cruise Nights Return to Downtown Plainfield May 27
Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce hosts weekly car nights.
For the second year, the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host Cruise Nights, set for 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays in downtown Plainfield from May 27 to Aug. 26.
The classic car nights, formerly organized by MainStreet Plainfield, will bring cars and car lovers to Lockport and Illinois streets.
Scheduled themes for this year are:
- May 27: Season opener, Rod Baker Ford
- June 3: Camaro Night, Webb Chevrolet Plainfield
- June 10: Corvette Night, Webb Chevrolet Plainfield
- June 17: Ford Night, Rod Baker Ford
- June 24: Import Night, Bill Jacobs of Joliet
- July 1: T-Bucket Night, Rod Baker Ford
- July 8: Street Rod Night, 59 Auto Repair
- July 15: Hot Rod Night, Rod Baker Ford
- July 29: American Muscle - Pony Cars, Rod Baker Ford
- Aug. 5: Classic Couples/Sedans, Bill Jacobs of Joliet
- Aug. 12: Pontiac Night, Bartel's Auto Clinic Quick Lube
- Aug. 19: Ford Truck Night, Rod Baker Ford
- Aug. 26: Final Cruise Night: Webb Chevrolet Plainfield
