Card Making for the Troops

Come help us make over 1,000 greeting cards for Operation Write Home (an organization that gathers homemade greeting cards to send to the troops).  The servicemen and women then use these cards to write home to their families!  You can attend this event at either the Plainfield American Legion or the Crestwood Civic Center from 10-3 on Saturday, September 29th.  All over the age of 16 are welcome!  Raffles and snacks are provided along with all the materials needed to make the cards.  This is a fun and rewarding event!  Contact Shannon for more details at 815-609-3718.
