Conservation Plainfield Environmental Enhancement Project at Eaton Preserve

Volunteers are needed for a Conservation Plainfield environmental enhancement project at Eaton Preserve on Saturday, Sept. 15. Community members are invited to assist in the planting of native prairie grasses and forbs. A nature activity will also be provided for children. The event will take place rain or shine, and participants are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring bug repellent if desired. A limited number of work gloves will be provided, so volunteers are encouraged to bring their own. A continental breakfast will be provided for volunteers at check-in. Interested participants are asked to register by calling James Less at (815) 439-7940 or e-mailing less@plainfieldparkdistrict.com by Wednesday, Sept. 12.
