Fundraisers to Help Pay Teens’ Funeral Expenses
Visitation and services for the Alexis Banuelos, Brian Herrera and Tyler Montgomery are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
Friends are stepping up to help the family of after the teen’s tragic death in a earlier this week.
Herrera, a Plainfield resident and former student, died Monday in an accident that also claimed the lives of his friends Tyler Montgomery and Alexis Banuelos.
To help his family with funeral and burial expenses, friend Julie Husch said a fund has been set up at Chase bank in the 19-year-old Herrera’s name.

Donations can be made to the Brian Herrera Memorial Fund at any area Chase branch. Contributions can also be left under the name of Brian’s father, Armando Herrera.
Herrera worked at Bob Evans and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Website established for Banuelos family
Coworkers of Raquel Banuelos, mother of crash victim Alexis Banuelos, are also working to help the family pay funeral expenses.
A Naperville resident, Alexis previously lived in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield North High School in 2011. She attended Joliet Junior College and worked at in Naperville.

Visitation scheduled
Visitation for both Tyler and Alexis is scheduled for 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at , 15219 S. Joliet Rd., Plainfield. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can also be made to help the Montgomery family.
Visitation for Herrera is scheduled for 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at , 24021 W. Royal Worlington Dr., Naperville. Funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
