• Naperville 2011 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Why Go: Irish or not, come and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the West Suburban Irish! The parade features St. Baldrick's Naperville Public Service, Quigley's Irish Pub, Weber and McNulty Irish Dancers, Prairie Girl Scouts, Patch.com and more!

• Plainfield’s Hometown Irish Parade
Where/When: Downtown Plainfield. Sunday, starts at 1 p.m. from the northwest parking lot at Plainfield High School Central Campus and ends at the Village Green.
Why Go: The parade includes bagpipe ensembles, Irish dancers, floats and community groups. Once again, the Front Street Cantina will host the post-parade celebration with a corned-beef-and-cabbage feast and the children will have the chance to jump on complimentary inflatable bouncers.
